Intelligent control system for sturgeon farming

Instructed by: Xuan Thai and Bien Nguyen – IT teacher
Developed by: Gia Han, Chan Hung (both 12 years old), Thanh Trung (13 years old), and Thien Phuc (14 years old)
School: Phi Lieng Secondary School, Lam Dong Province

A team of four students from Phi Lien Secondary School in Lam Dong Province have developed an intelligent control system to address a key challenge in sturgeon farming: maintaining optimal water quality.
This innovative system uses sensors to continuously monitor water clarity. When the water meets pre-set standards, valves automatically open to supply fresh water to the sturgeon tanks. However, if the water quality falls below acceptable levels, the valves remain closed and an alarm system immediately notifies the farmers, allowing them to take timely action. This ingenious solution not only reduces the manual workload for the farmers, but also helps to ensure consistent and healthy water conditions for their sturgeon, ultimately contributing to a more efficient and sustainable farming practice.
