Three young minds from Cun Pheo Primary and Secondary School in Hoa Binh Province have developed a novel smart farming system. This innovative project aims to address a number of challenges faced by Vietnamese farmers and contribute to improved farming practices and animal welfare.
This innovative system provides a multi-faceted approach to improving farm management:
Automated feeding: The system ensures consistent and scheduled feeding of animals, eliminating potential neglect and promoting optimal nutrition.
Self-cleaning barn: This feature significantly reduces manual labour by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for the animals, contributing to their overall well-being.
Temperature control: The system automatically activates water sprays to cool the barn during hot weather, ensuring animal comfort and preventing heat stress.
Insect control: A programmed water spray system operates weekly to deter harmful insects, protecting crops and livestock from potential infestation.
